The Good Deeds of Kenny the Koala
There once lived Kenny the Koala who was a really decent chap. He always walked around with a smile on his face and was at all times kind and considerate to everyone around him: to the old boomers and to the young joeys, to the full-grown kookaburras and to the young fledglings too. He never failed to take off his hat and say “G’day” to every animal he met, to inquire of their health and to ask them if they needed assistance with anything.

That’s Life
Necromancer
Rick’s shovel moved the earth with the slow and deliberate rhythm of a man operating on auto-pilot. Faint thunder pealed in the distance and several flashes of light broke the coal black air that surrounded him, revealing his image to the night.
But Rick preferred the cover of darkness to perform his task. The sticky, tropical air hugged his body, squeezing the breath from him as he paused to wipe the sweat from his brow. He returned to his duty and fought hard to prevent the memories from his past from surfacing.
